Tracker Support will probably need the PDF file to identify where the problem lies. All attachments must be compressed as Zip or 7z archives. Otherwise, provide a link to the file. If its private, send it via Help, Report a problem.

It happens on a whole range of files. None of which I am going to send to anyone.

Please check option:
Menu/Preferences/Accessibility/Override Document Colors
If it is checked please uncheck it and press OK.

If it isn't checked please send to us any of your file for reproduce and fix possible issue.
Please archive it before.
