We have a number of users that are currently using Adobe Reader 8.1 to digitally sign documents. In order to digitally sign a PDF form using Adobe Reader you have to enable usage rights when the form is first created using Adobe Professional. This process has been working for us without any issue. We are currently evaluating PDF XChange Pro as a solution to replace Adobe Reader for some of our users but not all. We have identified an issue where if a PDF XChange Pro user digitally signs a PDF form the usage rights gets corrupted in some way so that no additional Adobe Reader users can sign the document.
The error that is returned when opening the signed PDF with Adobe Reader is:
"This document contained certain rights to enable special features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and these rights are no longer valid. Please contact the author of the original version of this document"
Is there any way to preserve the usage rights when signing a document with PDF XChange Pro so Adobe Reader users can sign the document as well?

Re: Signing a document corrupts Adobe Reader usage rights
could you please zip and send (either attach here or email to support@pdf-xchange.com if you prefer privacy for the files) a before and after example so we can analyse - also please ensure you are using the latest release as this should not be an issue - perhaps there is a something specific regarding the type of files in use that we need to address...
Thanks

Re: Signing a document corrupts Adobe Reader usage rights
I just send an email as you requested. The subject is: PDF XChanger Pro Support - Signing a document corrupts Adobe Reader usage rights
Can you use these examples for my other post as well?
I have a 3rd issue that I have identified where it appears that PDF XChange doesn't support rich text text boxes. The details are in the email.
