EMailing PDF-XChange Viewer PDFs

Hi,

Newbie issues here!

I have recently completed an enrolment form (which initially opens in PDF-XChange Viewer) for my child to attend a camp on a web site which has a supposedly auto email function that does not work for me (I use Thunderbird) so I saved the completed form as a PDF-XChange Viewer pdf.

When I open the form on my pc with PDF-XChange Viewer all the sections requiring data are completed, however when I try to send the pdf as an attachment to an email to complete the registration, the form arrives at the other end mostly blank.

What am I doing wrong here?

Yes I am saving the form. It shows in my documents in document "properties" as these.

"Microsoft Word - Apr 10 Horse Riding Camps Enrolment Form.doc"

as well as.

"Apr_10_Horse_Riding_Camps_Enrolment_Form___Web_Version_pub_0001.pdf"

Why it is called a .doc and a .pdf I have no idea.

OK I will send the file through to the email address indicated.

Just one thing though, after trying a squillion times to send the original file to the "camp" email address in question plus even to my self and to "my partner", I actually used PDFCreator to create a PDF file from the saved PDF-XChange Viewer PDF file and damed if the thing did not work OK when I sent it to myself and the "boss".

Have not heard back from the "camp" staff yet to whether they got it or not but it was weird. I may send you that PDFCreator one also in a second email.

Excellent, now we can find out if it is all my fault. Not serious but I really want to know what I may have done wrong and what I need to do right, so it will work in future.

Hi laopa,

After reviewing the files it turns out that they contain XFA forms.
Unfortunately for the moment we can not offer full support for XFA forms (such full support is developed for ver3) but we will check if we can do something in the mean time until ver3 comes live.

Thanks for the rapid reply and information. At least I now know that it was not anything I did or did not do.

If you guys can come up with a fix in the meantime that would be great.
