Click on Print, it crash

Post by atiugk »

Hi,

I am using Windows XP Pro. Whenever, I clicked on the Menu File - Print - to print the PDF, it crashed - the usual 'send a report or don't send' to Microsoft message prompted. What is wrong, please advice :( .

Can you provide us additional information? We will need mor information about your OS, installed printers and especially Viewer version. Best way to do this is use Report a problem... from Viewer menu and check all checkboxes (except Include your font and color info).
Also, does this happen on any document or only with several of them? If issue is document specific - we will need one of such documents.

It happened to any PDF file. Once you click on the PRINT context, the error message will appear. See enclosed attachment.

The free version is version 2.0 The printer is Ricoh Aficio 2075.

As I can see you are using very old version - almost a year old (Build 41.5, Mar 30 2009; 19:53:50).
Please update to the latest one 2.047 and check if problem still exist.

Can you provide us with a more detailed description of the crash? It is available via the "click here" link on the crash report dialog.

Hi,
I forgot to mention that there are other PDF printers along side with Ricoh Aficio 2075 mentioned earlier. I am sending you through sendspace since my email cannot send .exe file. Thank you.

Any file you send us - must be ZIP archived - then you will not have the problem sending an exe file.
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Best regards

You sent me FinePrint and pdfFactory.
Are you sure this is the driver for your RICOH printer?

Can you advise please EXACTLY which printer caused the problem?

Hi,
Sorry forgot to add the Ricoh driver, enclosed. These are the Printers - FinePrint, PDF Pro and Ricoh installed in my PC. As mentioned, I have no idea which caused the problem as I could not go further then the File Menu Printer context. The default printer is set to Ricoh.
