it's all right in the elder version, but failed in v2.48
when I opened the document in the attached file, Chinese charater disappeared. In previous version,it's all right.

The Chinese Mincho fonts show in build 47. If I try to open the file in Adobe Reader, I am asked to download the Chinese Simplified fonts. In build 48 of PDF-XChange, I see the same result as you — the Mincho Chinese fonts are missing.

Yes, into build 48 there is problems with /ToUnicode for fonts, which can cause troubles with showing non-embedded non ASCII characters, and with copying non-ASCII text.
