copy text to clipboard and paste produces unreadable text

If I open

http://www.ag-energiebilanzen.de/compon ... cation/pdf

in pdf xchange viewer, select and copy text and paste it anywhere, only unreadable text is pasted.

If I open the same file in Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader, select and copy the text, pasting the text works fine.

There is a bug in build 2.0.48 that does not allow correct copying and pasting of text, but it has been located and fixed.
The new build 2.0.49 should be avaialble either over the weekend or on Monday to correct this.

OH my lord . I have spent hours trying to fix this. At first I thought it was the new istallation of my scanner and OCR software. I tried and and I tried and eventually I realized the problem was with PDF-XChange Viewer because Sumatra PDF handled my scanned files (sPDF) with aplomb.

I can only see Version 2.048 at http://www.docu-track.com/version/pdf-xchange-viewer. Am I missing something?
