no hyphen matches in search engine of PDF-XChange Viewer

There's some kind of bug in the search engine of PDF-XChange Viewer. If you search for - (for instance upper-left or 2009-2010) there are no matches found. Other PDF viewers, like Adobe, correctly finds all hyphens.

I don't have any problem finding hyphenated words e.g. "sense-bases" but I am not able to find an em-dash — (ANSI 0151)

Tracker support will probably need a test document to check this. The forum only accepts files as Zip or 7z archives.

Yes please attach (in a .zip or .rar archive) a sample document so we can check it.
Also please confirm that you are using the latest build of our Viewer 2.0.49 and if not make sure to download and install it from here:

I have attached a zip file with a test pdf document, created with MS Word 2007, and two screenshots. I tested it with many online pdf files too, with the same result. I'm using the latest version, 2.0.49, portable.

This seems to be fixed in build 50 — finds hyphen, em-dash or en-dash.
