Firefox freezes when searching with PDF-Xchange Viewer Plug-

I can search with no problem on a single word. However, when I search using a phrase, i.e., when there is a space in the search term, Firefox freezes. I have to shutdown Firefox with the Task Manager and restart.
Firefox 3.6.3 (latest version)
Windows 7 64-bit
PDF-Xchange Viewer Plug-in 2.0.49.0 (latest version)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Searching for a phrase is working OK in the PDF-XChange plugin for Opera. I wasn't able to get the plugin working in Firefox to test it.

Please check it in our standalone application.
Also could you please provide the following details about the problem (for reproducing and investigating):
1. what is the URL(or local document) in which you search a phrase? (you may post the target URL or attach the file - archived in .zip or .7z - to your message on this forum)
2. what is the phrase you search for? (exactly including any spaces and special characters)

I thought I had the latest build but just updated from Build 48.2 to 49.0 and that corrected the problem.
