Free reader - scale ratio problems

I get drawings emailed to me in pdf form so that I can get dimensions, areas etc off the drawing to produce a written statement for planning applications. However, sometimes I get a pdf and when I enter the scale gives me dimensions based on different scales. Cant find anything relevant in the manual. Can anyone help?

I am afraid I can not fully get into the "scale" problem you have here.

I presume you are aware how to:
specify the units to be used in the measuring tools

Please try to give a clearer description and/or provide us with a sample file where we can see the problem and we would be happy to help you further.
