Relative File Links

Post by KevinMillican »

When you create links to open other PDF files, can these be relative instead of absolute Links ?

Links created from within the PDF-XChange viewer are relative by default.

Hope that helps

Thank you.

It seems that the action "Goto a page in another document" is relative, but "Open a File" is absolute. I was using the File option which is why I was having problems.

Thanks again.

Hi Kevin,

If you are using the latest release - it is (should be) Relative links - this suggests you are not using the latest 2.050 ... ?

Can you pls update to the latest build and advise specifically (if you experience issues) if it is causing you problems ?

e.g. The Path of the source that you are inserting the link for and the path to the destination file you are trying to add.

Many thanks
