explorer hangs

Hi,

I have installed free PDF-XChange Viewer for few days now.
I like it. But there is a very annoying bug : Explorer hangs on some conditions.
Here are steps to reproduce the hang :
- Open ONE explorer window
- Browse to a directory with pdf files
- Click on a file to select it
- Close explorer window -> explorer hangs.
When explorer it hanged, I can still use opened applications but all explorer relative functionnalities are gone : desktop is hung, start icon is hung, task bar is hung...
If more than one explorer window is opened, then there is no hang when closing explorer window.
The hang happens only when closing the last explorer window.
If I dissociate PDF-XChange Viewer, there are no hangs.

Other pdf viewers installed are Acrobet reader 9.x and Foxit.
My system is in French language.

Hello Nicolas,

Please tell us the build of the Viewer you are using.
(You can check this in the Viewer itself in Help -> About)
And also which is your operating system - XP, Vista or Win7 and also whether it is 32 or 64 bit?

I would strongly advise you ensure you have the latest release installed and if your current release is more than a few builds old - a full uninstal/restart - clean install are reccomended to ensure all old config settings are cleaned out.

The version I use is Version 2.0 (build 50.0).
This is the only version I have installed. If I remember well, no update has been downloaded and installed.
My system is WinXP SP3 32bit.
