[feature request] Alternative search result view - Again

There isa feature I would like very much.

After a search through a pdf directory you get a result list (tree view). Maybe you are able to implement an alternative view inspired by the result view of google book search: After searching a word in a book (serach on the left) you get as a result a list of snippets highlighting the search term.

example:

http://books.google.de/books?id=1G-okmZ ... navlinks_s

Serach for the term "kooperation" (book related search box on the left hand).

In my opinion, that would a much more intuitive way of searching pdf!

Ok, and what to do, if document contains a lot of entries for the searched phrase ?

Sorry for my late reply. I gave up hope to get some feedback.

Maximize the side pane and list the result (list of snippets), by page of the pdf. I don´t know, if the google book search is limitated. If it is a problem of system resources: after the first, lets say 20 results, pause the search and show the results. After that: Ask the user, if he wants to continue searching!

Hi inqui,

an update to let you know that we will be improving the search results view in Version 3 but exactly how that will look is not yet set in stone. We'll know more as development continues.
