Stamp Size

Post by dslepak »

Is there a way to set the default stamp size? When I select a stamp and add it to the document, the stamp image is much larger than I want it to be. I've tried adjusting the stamp size on the page and under properties, choosing "Set Current Appearance as Default", thinking that may adjust the default size but each time I click to set the stamp I get the same large image that I need to manually re-size. I am using the Free version of the product, could what I am trying to do only be available in the paid product?

Hello dslepak,

The default stamp size is stored when you created that stamp - if you want to have a smaller version of it - create a new stamp and make sure it is with the size you will usually need. Here is a tutorial on how to create custom stamps:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowled ... Stamp-Tool

And if it is one of the default stamps then I am afraid that there is no way for the moment to permanently resize those (but you can create a new resized copy of course)

Best,
Stefan

Hi dslepak

dynamic stamps are supported in PF-XChange v.2 but not the creation of Dynamic Stamps which is coming in v.3

If you have access to already existing Dynamic Stamps from some other PDF application you can import them and use them in PDF-XChange Viewer v.2
