Escaping from a sticky note...

Post by aerst2 »

Hello,

Is there a keyboard shortcut to close the sticky note that you are currently in? In Adobe, if you press Escape, it will close the note for you, saving the text. In PDF xChange, though, pressing Escape DELETES all of your text and doesn't close the note. Is there a way to change the behavior to be more like Adobe?

Edit: Actually, there is the same problem with the typewriter control. If you press escape, it cancels out of the whole thing and deletes the text, rather than just bringing the focus back to the document.

Also, how is the support for multiple windows of the same document coming along?

Thanks,

- AER

Hi, aerst2.

Probably, in the future we add special shortcut for this.
Edit: Actually, there is the same problem with the typewriter control. If you press escape, it cancels out of the whole thing and deletes the text, rather than just bringing the focus back to the document.
Issue with Escape key will be fixed for all text annotations. Fix will be available in the next build (upcoming).
Also, how is the support for multiple windows of the same document coming along?
This feature (and more other UI-features) will be added into the new version(V3). Please wait.

Thanks and
Best
