Customizing PDf Xchange viewer
Does anyone know where Xchange viewer saves its settings? I would like to setup a standard set of configs that I could push to users so they had a common look and feel when they launch the app.

From the Edit menu, you can export and import settings.

Thanks for the information. Is there anyway to automate it for each user?

Re: Customizing PDf Xchange viewer
Hi ghealdan,
if you are referring to the import/export of settings take a look at the manual page 18, section 1.8 Command Line option:
can force use of or export of the settings when the Viewer is started.
Is that what you are looking for?

Code: Select all
/exportp <setting_file_name>
/importp <setting_file_name>

Re: Customizing PDf Xchange viewer
I am mostly looking for a way to make sure a user gets a common set of options and menus when they run it.

Re: Customizing PDf Xchange viewer
Hi ghealdan
/usep and /importp will force the state of the Viewer when it starts but it will not stop users from making subsequent changes to their settings. Are you looking to not only set an initial state but also lock down the Viewer such that users cannot change their settings?
