The "Facing" layout is my favorite feature for displaying 2 pages of a magazine side-by-side on the same screen. However, this feature should not display the facing pages for the cover pages (i.e. first and last page). As a result, if there is an illustration/picture/diagram that spans two pages inside a magazine, it can not be viewed side-by-side on the same screen.
Is there a way to manually set the facing pages?
Page Layout "Facing"- problem or feature?

Make sure you have a recent version. Old versions did not have this feature.
The latest version is build 52.
From the View menu, select "Show cover page in facing mode" and deselect "Show gap between pages."
