Post by mowahhed »

HI
I Was playing around with properties option, now I have all toolbars disappeared, an lost tapped display as well. What can I do, I have several documents open now, and can't even save them to my drive, even using the keyboard short cut.
Thanks for your prompt response.

If I recall correctly, F8 is the shortcut to show all of the toolbars. Or try F11.

Alter V should also show the View menu, from where you can enable the individual toolbars.

Thanks Stefan for the link, these short cuts didn't resolve the issue, every time I open the viewer I have to press short cuts again. I tried uninstallin, and reinstalling but still the new version inherit the olde setting, and nothing had changed. I there a way to restore the default viewer settings?

Thanks

Hello mowahhed,

Please make sure that you are not launching the Viewer by calling the help/manual file - it will always start with a limited set of menus - that's on purpose.

If that is not the case - please make sure you have only one instance of the Viewer running - make changes to any setting - even if you do not plan to keep this new setting in the long term, open all toolbars you want displayed and then close the Viewer. When the last instance of our Viewer is closing it is storing it's current state so the next time you launch it you should have it back as you left it the last time.

Regards,
Stefan

Hi, mowahhed.

To restore the default layout of all toolbars - you may:
1. Close application.
2. Run the regedit and remove one registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tracker Software\PDFViewer\View\Bars
3. Run application again.

Note: this method works for non-portable version only.

Best
