Hi ljbirns,
welcome to the forum, I'm glad to see you got the account activated.
That would have to be a setting in your Windows Sound Scheme I would think. To the best of my knowledge we do not make any associations with our application and a sound. You should look in the Windows Control panel under "Sounds" for this.

Hi ljbirns,
We've had another forum user post the same question and we're wondering if you've had any success trying to suppress the boing noise, and if so if you could provide details for us to add to our knowledgebase and pass on to other users experiencing the same behaviour.
Appreciated,
Chris

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

I've started getting the same problem recently.
Has anyone found out how to stop it?

Re: BOING noise when opening or closing PDF Viewer
HI olliecox,
we never were able to reproduce the issue here and as you can see from this thread ljbirns never did get back to us. We would be happy to help you find out what is causing this but would need to reproduce it here in order to do so.
If you want to use the Viewer built in problem reporting, Help --> Report a Problem, include all the attachments, default text, a description of the issue and a link to this forum thread we can try using your set up to investigate.
My gut felling however is that there is something installed on your PC that is causing this and nailing this down could be like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack.
