Hi,
A user has reported that PDF-Xchange Standards never shows the file-dialog when creating a PDF-file.
The process-bar goes to 100% and stays there, no file dialog box appears, and he has to close the PDF-saver program on the taskbar.
It does not make any difference whether the Office plug-in is used or printing directly to the PDF-driver.
This is Win-7 Pro, 64 bit - printing from Word 2007.
Have reinstalled latest version.
Any idea ?

Hi Poul!
Are you using a Clarion program to trigger the printing process, or is this directly from Word 2007 to PDF-XChange without Clarion involvement?

1: Could it be the save dialog is present - but just does not have focus or is sitting on the status bar ?
2: Also - does the user have an AV program that perhaps is blocking ?
3: are they 100% sure they have not set some default file 'Save As' location in the driver properties save page ?
4: Finally what happens if they print from another application - notepad or wordpad for example ?
We have no reports of similar issues and cannot reproduce ourselves. Have you seen this problem yourself on the users machine or is the user reporting remotely ?

Thanks.
I have now been on-line with the customer and are confident that it was caused by the save dialog being sitting on the taskbar (we did not see it as all worked OK when I was on-line).
