Is there a way that I can secure my markup/comments so that other users can't amend them later (e.g change the layout & text of my comments)?
I've tried printing my commented file to a new pd, this seems to work although I lose some of the resolution of the original document (in this case a PDF'd ACAD drawing) and I end up with multiple copies of the same commented files. Ideally it would just be a document/comment persmission setting or something similar...
(I'm using XChange Pro v2 Build 48.0)

Re: Locking markups?
Hello Daniel,
First I would recommend you to update to the latest build (currently 2.0.56), and then use the Comments -> Flatten comments feature that will make them permanent part of this file, so no one (including you though) will not be able to modify them from that point on.
This does not involve printing, so the resolution of any images would not be affected.
Best,
Stefan

Re: Locking markups?
Thanks Stefan. Unfortunately our software here at work is centrally controlled so I can't update to the latest build myself....
V2 B48 seems to have the flatten comment feature though which does the trick nicely!
Thanks,
Daniel.
Thanks,
Daniel.

Re: Locking markups?
Hi Daniel,
Yes it does have it but we always recommend updating for the obvious reasons: new features and bug fixes
Glad that I could help, and lets hope that your system administrators will update your build soon enough.
Regards,
Stefan
