Grey Fuzzy Pages On PDF

Post by patrick.bernardi »

Good afternoon,

I have some PDF's created by ABBYY PDF creator. When some of these PDF's are viewed my PDF XChange Viewer Pro, there are some pages that are sort of grey and fuzzy. If I open the file with Adobe Reader, it is fine. I have attached a PDF that has this issue and a print screen of what the pages look like. This is happening on more than one PC.

Best Regards,
Patrick Bernardi

Thanks for the file Patrick.

We are aware about such kind of problem in our JBIG2 decoder and we are working on the fix. This fix will be available in one of the next build.

Thank you Ivan.
Do you know approximately when the new release will be available?

Hello Patrick,

There would be a new build today fixing some issues with saving files, and also some minor installer issues, but whether the fix for your problem would be included I can not say.
If it is not in today's build it will certainly be in the next one which should be available around the end of the month.

Best,
Stefan
