PDF-XCHANGE PRO SUITE VERSION 4.0174

Dear Sirs,
I have the above version of PDF-XCHANGE PRO SUITE installed on my Laptop (Windows 7 Ultimate and office 2003).
As depicted in my account page with this (version 4.0174) I have "the most recent version".
The same result I get when i run Live Update for all products included in the suite.
However the PDF-XCHANGE PRO SUITE product page denotes that the latest version is "Version: 4.0187 (Updated on 15 Oct, 2010)".
How can I update my suite without uninstalling / reinstalling ? Will my product license key work with the new installation?
Why the Live Update tool is not working?
Finally (although in the past it worked) the pdf toolbar and facility to print to pdf does not work with Excel 2003 (although it does with the other office products).
Actually Ecel 2003 is blocked if i activate the plugin.....

Hello Babis,

The Live updater is for our Viewer only, and if you have used the .msi installation package - this is known to not be working properly due to some oddities in the way MS engineered the 'version' information maintained by MSI installers. The latest build is indeed 187, and yes your license entitles you to use all builds of ver4.

As for updating, I believe Uninstalling/restart/reinstalling is the only option from the full package available form our downloads page.

Many thanks for the quick reply! I will go for your proposed solution anyway.
By the way what about pdf-xchange and excel compatibility? (I avoid using the .msi installations for the reasons you mention). Hope that unsinstalling / restart / reinstalling will fix it.

Yes reinstalling should fix the excel issue as well, and if not - check whether you have security settings active that are blocking our add-in.
