gray background when printing with embedded images

When I print PDFs with elements that have a white background (images or annotations), they print in a light gray. The page itself is still white and the images/annotations appear white on the screen. I would guess that might have something todo with the Color (CMS) settings, but I didn't change those after installing the PDF-XChange Viewer. The problem does not occur in any other program I have installed.

Windows 7 x64
HP LaserJet 2100 (with standard Windows drivers)

First please download and install the latest build (2.0.57) and then if the problem still exists, please try to check whether there are not any settings inside your printer's driver that could be affecting this.

I still have the problem. Other PDF Readers or applications (Firefox, Word etc.) don't show that behaviour. Is there anything else I could try? Btw. it's an B/W-Printer if that helps.

Have you tried turning "Print as Grayscale" on?

I have had this problem as well, it only happens on our savin printer, and our background is a greenish tint. It does it when we use page numbering with the corrective rectangle on pdf tools 4. I dont believe anyone was ever able to find the answer, we just try to avoid using the corrective rectangle, and avoid attaching images to the pdfs.

Also "Print as Image" while might be slower (more data needs to be send to and processed by the printer) could result in correct output.
