Our put file type

Post by seavilla »

My xchange viewer 4.0 lite is producing ".10" file type as output. How do I change this back to ".PDF"?

Hi seavilla,

have you made any changes to the Save settings in the Printing Preferences of the driver? Specifically the File Name field?

This is what it might look like with default settings. Of your Path will be different.

Hello seavilla,

Try changing the naming template to %[DocName].pdf - as some applications do not send the full file name, so name like some.sample.name.10.txt would be trimmed incorrectly and the .10 would be used as file extension.

adding .pdf will force our drivers to append the correct file extension and should eliminate the problem.

Best,
Stefan
