Network Scanner will not be displayed

I bought PDF viewer and use the Pro version in German. Under the "File / New Document / From Scanner ..." I get the dialog "Select Scanner". There are, however, apply also to "update" no scanner. But as a scanner, an Epson SX600SW as a network scanner is available. What can I do?

Hi Dopem,

the answer will depend on if your are using a 64 bit OS and a 32 bit scanner driver or not. The 64 bit version will not work with 32 bit scanner drivers. As a test you could try using the portable version: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFX_Vwr_Port.zip as it is a 32 bit application that can run on your 64 bit OS ans therefore should see the 32 bit drivers correctly.

Please try that and let us know how it goes for you.
