I tried to open a pdf file, but instead got the following. I haven't found this problem listed in the forums.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Vilis

HI vnams,
what version are you using? Click Help --> About PDF-XChange Viewer. The latest version, 2.5 released yesterday has much greater support for some PDF types that previously could not be viewed. Try updating the Viewer and trying again.

Re: cannot read a pdf file - tells me to use Adobe reader
Hi vnams,
I would suspect it is portfolio container PDF with flash interface. If you like you could zip the pdf up and attach it to your post here for us to take a look at. Support for these protfolio style PDFs is coming in early 2011 with the released of Version 3 of the Viewer. So solution is currently in the works. I would be nice to have the file to ensure that is the case but I am 99% sure.
Best,
Chris

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
