JavaScript defines missing in more recent builds...

Post by DSSavant »

I have recently upgraded from 2.0.57 to 2.5.190 and have noticed that some of my JavaScript oriented routines has stopped working. More specifically, this use to work like a champ:

Code: Select all

var annotations = this.getAnnots({ nFilterBy: ANFB_ShouldView });
Now it fails with "ANFB_ShouldView" not being recognized. Was this intentional on the part of Tracker Software or is this simply a bug?

I'm OK with working around the problem by supplying my own numeric values, it was simply nice to be able to use the values as described in the Adobe JavaScript SDK.

Are you sure there is file resource.dat in the folder where viewer's .exe is located ?

LOL, interesting you mention that ;) I just found that it was missing today and corrected the problem. It tends to break other parts of the product too when it is not there. Sorry and thanks.
