Remove underline annotation

Dear pdf-xchange developers,

It is possible to select and delete highlight and cross-out annotations (and, actually any other annotation as well), but NOT underline annotations. Once I have underlined a passage all I can do to remove it is to "undo" it, but it is not possible - AFAIK - to remove the underlining annotation from a passage in any other way. If it is possible, it is a really well hidden feature.

For consistency's sake, it should be possible to simply click on the underlining to select (and then delete) it. The way this is possible with any other annotation (e.g. for cross-outs, I simply click on the line, which selects it, and for highlights, I simply click anywhere in the color to select it).

I really hope you will implement this, as it is a discrepancy in the behaviour of tools, (and - personally - a real nuisance).

Hello grovel,

Please check the version of our Viewer that you are using (Help -> About) as what you describe reminds me of a problem we had a few builds ago.
Using the latest build 2.5.191 you should be able to just click and delete the underline just as any other type of annotation.

As you suggested, upgrading to 2.5.191 did the trick. I can now underline a passage, and then simply click on the underline to select it.

BUT: I still cannot remove underlines that I've made with the previous version (2.5.188)... What's more, I also can't select them in Acrobat Pro (which seems to suggest that this version of pdf-Xchange saved underline annotations incorrectly).
Luckily there is a workaround (as I've just discovered), I can select underlines (even from that version) in the comments sidebar.

So - essentially the problem seems solved, Thanks. Sorry for not testing with the newest version first, but my auto-update claimed I had installed the most recent version.

Yes, the Comments pane was working even when only build 188 was available, but I didn't mention it the first time as I had no idea underlines made with the old build would still be locked in the new one.
