PDF file Icon for PDF-XChange viewer

It appears that a PDF file generated by BullZip and saved on the desktop does not get the PDF-XChange viewer ICON.
Moving it to any folder even one on the desktop and it appears with the PDF-XChange viewer ICON, moving it back to the desktop and the ICON again disappears. This does not happen with other PDF files.

Any ideas?

Sounds strange, please zip the pdf and attach it to a post, to see if we can recreate it.

Hi Chris,

This is a real problem since ziping the file appears to change the icon. I'm attaching the zip file and a JPEG screen shot so you can see the deshtop. On the screen shot you will see XMAS2010- Copy XX and next to it the Zip file with the same name. I tried Dropbox, however placing "XMAS2010- Copy XX " in the dropbox folder changes the ICON.

Hello Jim,

On your desktop you are viewing a preview of the first page of the document, and when you move it in another folder, you see the icon for PDF files in general.
This is due to a helper shell extension we have installed that allows windows to generate those previews, just as it does for e.g. images when you see them as thumbnails.
