Diagonal line appears after optimizing

Hi,

After Saving as Optimized a diagonal line is added to some pages (arch. plans) , really weird.

Thanks for the sample file!
Can you please share with us the settings you used in the "Save as Optimized" dialogue as well?

Hi,

I used default, not changed anything...

As you can see in all blueprints are diagonals...(reproduced again and again added)

Hello joxeme,

I see that Dimitar created the ticket for the other topic with the PDF/A issue, however it seems like you only provided the already optimized file. Can you please also send us a copy of that 212th page from before the optimization - so that we can test with it and see if we can reproduce the issue on our end, and then ask our devs to look at this as well (as it is a separate issue from the PDF/A one in the other topic)?

Hello joxeme,

Did you send it to support @ pdf-xchange ? I can not seem to locate that sample file on our end.
Please try to send just one page of the file, as the whole document might be too big and not arrive as e-mail.

Thank you for that, I was able to locate the emails you sent, and have reproduced the issue on my end. From what I can tell, the root of the issue here is an error in our process for combining identical objects. It seems that for some reason, your document contains a duplicated "border" object on every page:

Removing either one of these before optimizing prevents the issue, but it is still an error on our end which we should be able to fix.

On that line of thought, I spoke with the Dev team, and we created this ticket to address your issue:
RT#7508: Bug: diagonal lines after Save as optimized.
