How to roate a "reaction mark" element?

Post by guebert »

Hallo!

I have a PDF which is slightly rotated. I want to redact some text. The lines are not 100% horizontal an therefor I was looking for the possibility to rotate the redaction markup object like this:

https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... nt-objects

"Use the green handle to rotate objects." --> There is no green handle ...

Any idea?

Hello guebert,

If you open the Transform dialog from the Arrange tab, you can specify a rotation angle for each Redaction object. You can also execute the "Transform to Quadrilateral" command from the context menu of a Redaction object. However, as you notice, you cannot rotate the object using the rotation handles as you normally do with comments.

The Redaction feature assumes that the document is not skewed. Depending on the content of your document, I would suggest that your first priority should be to correct the skew of the page.

Best regards,
