In build 405, the ‘Highlight Destination’ feature was added. However, I noticed that when the destination is set to the top-left corner of the page using X/Y coordinates, the highlight does not appear if the Appearance is set to the default Circle. It seems the highlighting process is likely being performed internally, but the diameter of the highlight circle is zero, effectively making it invisible. Additionally, I found that the diameter of the highlight circle increases proportionally to the display scaling. Below are the verification results for these two issues.
All bookmarks in the sample file are set on page 1, with the X/Y coordinates indicated in the bookmark name set as the destination.
- X: 0 pt / Y: 300 pt
- X: 5 pt / Y: 295 pt
- X: 10 pt / Y: 290 pt
- X: 15 pt / Y: 285 pt
- X: 20 pt / Y: 280 pt
- X: 25 pt / Y: 275 pt
- X: 30 pt / Y: 270 pt
- X: 35 pt / Y: 265 pt
- X: 40 pt / Y: 260 pt
- X: 45 pt / Y: 255 pt
Scaling 100% (Resolution: 1280 x 720)
Also, as mentioned at the beginning, please note that as the display scaling value increases, the diameter of the highlight circle becomes larger. While I've frequently reported on display scaling values, all previous cases showed objects becoming smaller as the scaling value increased. In contrast, the trend of circles appearing smaller as the scaling value increases differs from previous issues.
Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
