Hi @ all,
We are currently looking for a solution to automatically run PDF documents through OCR and save the text in a separate file.
Since we use PDF Xchange Editor and PDFXChange Pro, we would like to use them to automatically check a defined folder for PDFs and then process them as soon as a new document arrives and write the recognized text to a WORD, txt, or CSV file.
Is there any chance to do this?
I thought there must be a command line switch like /ocr or something else, but it didn`t seems so.

Re: OCR Batchprocessing
Hi Pascal, if you have a license for PDF-XChange PRO - that includes PDF-Tools and you can use the folder monitors for that purpose:

Re: OCR Batchprocessing
Many thanks to your quick answer.
I`ve checked the PDF Tools, but i`m only able to export to txt file.
It would be great to export the OCR Results as a csv.
Is there any chance to review the OCR Processed File and export only specific Columns?

Hi Pascal,
I'm afraid PDF to CSV is not possible, and it's also not possible to review the processed OCR file and export specific columns.
