Hi - I am trying to uninstall the package so I can do a fresh install. I am unable to do this using Microsoft tools or Revo Uninstaller.
While I'm here, why do updates insist that Windows Explorer closes? This is bizarre for a Windows package.
Is there a tool that will force an uninstall or anything else that will help, please?
Update fails and so do all attempts to uninstall

Re: Update fails and so do all attempts to uninstall
Hello, bt1ceuk
Is there an error message you are seeing when the uninstall fails? Typically we recommend against using third party removal tools, as if you windows MSI database is fully functional, simply running the same installer you used at first should prompt to uninstall without issue (in the same way, using the windows "control panel > Uninstall a program" menu should be fully functional).
If you see an error when attempting to uninstall via the control panel, please email [email protected] with a screenshot of the error, and the path shown, so we can work to resolve the issue.
Kind regards,

Re: Update fails and so do all attempts to uninstall
You can see from the screenshot that I use an application called UniGetUI which works very well almost all the time to auto-update most apps.
In this case, something went wrong, and PDF Exchange's own update attempts are tangled up with UniGetUI's error.
Once I have extricated myself from this I can and will exclude PDFExchange from UniGetUI!
Is there a path I can swap into the dialogue in the photo?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hello, bt1ceuk
There is no singular path that you would swap into the dialogue. This error indicates that the MSI installer necessary to remove the installed version (effectively, the same MSI file you used to install) is missing from the location it is supposed to be at. If you have that specific MSI installer on hand (perhaps that utility has a copy stores somewhere) you can point to that, or simply run that installer wherever it is, and choose the "uninstall" option presented.
