Previewer not working in Outlook 2007 on Windows 7 x64

I have PDF Xchange Pro 4.0 with Viewer 2.0 Build 42.4. I use Windows 7 x64 RTM (via MSDN). When I try to preview a PDF file in Outlook, I get the message "This file cannot be previewed because there is no previewer installed for it." I have tried manually registering XCShInfo.dll (as suggested in other posts), which is succesful, but does not solve the problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well, to no avail.

Does the previewer work on Outlook 2007 and Windows 7 x64? If so, any idea how to get it working on my computer? Or do I even need it (does Windows 7 come with its own?)? Thanks.

Yes the previewer should be working, and we have so far fought with Win 7 x64 several times and thought we have beaten it
We are investigating and will make sure it's working all the time for the new build.

Problem is fixed in the new build 42.5 released very soon.
