I have a few problems with the PDF X-change tools.
I've recently moved from Foxit Reader to PDF X-change (as Foxit Reader just doesn't support my PDFs fast enough). Now a few things I've noticed that were great on Foxit Reader, are not so great for PDF X-change.
1. Callout Tool
- when I "callout", I need to click and drag to make a box. This is not too great when you are annotating during lectures and want to get your points down quickly. I suggest a kind of "default callout box" which you can then modify as you wish later, much like that of Foxit Reader. (small point)
A more important problem is about the default text
2. The "make default" part of the text properties doesn't seem to save properly. I'm always back at the default which is.. Arial, Font 12, Black (but it is actually red for some strange reason, the colour of my font seems to always mirror the colour of my box colour ... eg. if I turn my box to green, my default text will also be green regardless of what settings I have previously made). However, when I right click on my selected text and "apply default text formatting" it changes to the one I want but that is no different form having to do it manually
I have the newest version of PDF X-change downloaded, really a great viewer~
To put it bluntly, I am trying to get the best of both worlds~
Kind regards,
Josey
