The feature to crop a page offers some "boxes": crop box, bleed box, art box and ... box.
These strings are not translated to German.

I don't think, that a translation of these rather technical terms would be helpful for users. Please have a look at the German Wikipedia article. There's a description of the boxes. As headlines, the English terms are used, while Adobes German translations are mentioned in the description.

Yes, good question. These strings describe really very special feature, and the user has to know what it is good for. Maybe you can combine English and German in this menu? Only a small idea ...BigMike wrote:I don't think, that a translation of these rather technical terms would be helpful for users. ...

At the moment, the strings would get too long. Since I can't influence the width of the drop down menu, one of the both terms wouldn't be readable and only be displayed partly.

Yes. A perfect solution could be the integration of tooltips and/or enlarge the menu and/or add a picture like in (German) Wikipedia. But, as discussed above, the main question is "How to offer - or NOT offer - a special-professional-feature for standard-user? How can the menu substitute the professional knowledge?"BigMike wrote:At the moment, the strings would get too long. I don't know the right answers ...
