Drop-down menus produce continuous ding

PDFXCHANGE Viewer installed version: 2.5, build 211.0
OS: Vista, on Dell Inspiron 1501

any time I click on a drop-down menu, PDF XChange viewer produces a continuous 'ding' until the menu is closed. On my machine, the 'Sounds' tab of the control panel lists this as 'Windows Ding.wav', nomally played as the 'Default Beep' for Windows.

The ding is annoying and useless; how to I turn it off?

Thanks for the email - I believe that this issue is related to the fact that you are using the an older build of the Viewer. Please download and run the following to install the latest build:

Also does it happen in any other application you have installed?

INstalled the editor. NO ding.

And no, no other program has ever done this continuous ding thing.

Hi Will,

That's very peculiar, but I am not sure we can do anything about it as you are the only one who has reported this.
It's also happening with the older Viewer for which the development has pretty much ended, and we are now focusing on the Editor and all new features and pretty much all bug fixes are going to happen in the Editor only from here on.
