Editor Launches Open Files Without User Intervention

I searched but didn't find this problem mentioned. If I leave a couple of PDFs open for a long time, editor will launch them in Acrobat (which is shown under DOCUMENT- LAUNCH). Example- I open FileA.pdf in Editor (version 5.5 build 308.1) and leave it open overnight. The next morning FileA.pdf will be open in Editor AND Acrobat. It's more annoying than a showstopper but is there anything I can do to stop this?

Thanks for the post. It's odd that the Editor will automatically launch Adobe overnight. Could you send these files to us to take a look at? I suspect that there might be some JavaScript on one (or both) of theses documents. If the files contain sensitive or private information, you can send them to [email protected] with reference to this article.
