Copy/Paste Comments and Pdf- with OL2003

Post by mia_taugts »

Hello

I have bought PDFXChangeViewer PRO, Version 2.0 (Build 41.4), because it offers all the functions I normally need and at is slim and protects resources. :D :)

2 problems, however, I can currently not solve:
  • Flatten Annotations/Comments:
Inserted text comments, lines, rectangles, etc., can not be copied and re-inserted. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V do not work and are greyed.
  • Outlook 2003 SP 3 + Windows Vista SP 1:
If PDFXChangeViewer is the default program for editing PDF-documents, PDF documents in E-mail neither cant be saved nor cant be copied with drag + drop to harddiscs.
Under Outlook 2007 + Windows XP SP 3 it already works.
.

Can anybody help ?

Thanks

Copy/Paste for annotations will be added into build 42 of the viewer. By the way, it is not flatten. Flatten operation is available now (Comments -> Flatten Comments...)
Outlook 2003 SP 3 + Windows Vista SP 1:
If PDFXChangeViewer is the default program for editing PDF-documents, PDF documents in E-mail neither cant be saved nor cant be copied with drag + drop to harddiscs.
Under Outlook 2007 + Windows XP SP 3 it already works.
Will check with Outlook 2003. Can you drag&drop from Outlook 2003 when PDF XChange Viewer isn't default application for PDF files?
PDF-XChange Co Ltd. (Project Director)

When attaching files to any message - please ensure they are archived and posted as a .ZIP, .RAR or .7z format - or they will not be posted - thanks.

Yes, drag&drop is possible in OL 2003 and Vista when PDF XChange Viewer isn't default application for PDF files (in this casemAcrobat 8 is default)

With Outlook 2007 + Windows XP SP 3 drag&drop is possible when PDF XChange Viewer is default application for PDF files
