I am a new user of teh Free PDF XCHange Viewer version, enjoing its comment capabilities.
I woud like to use the "Highlight text tool" a get a summary of the documnt exporting the highligted text.
When I click on the "Export Comments to Data File ..." it appears nothing occurs. Anyone knows what must I do?

Hi Vicentelles,
You can get the help you requested in the Xchange Viewer help file. Pages 96-98

Re: Export Comments to Data File ...
Thanks Cadillakin, I will try to explain better the problem
As reference: I am using
- the PDF XChange Viewer help file version 2.0.4x corresponding to
- the Version 2.0 Build 42.3 of the product.
- I am using Windows Vista with thw last updates.
"Export Comments to Data File ..." comes as point 2.2.5.5 in page 107 and it explains that a new window will appear for crating the file to export the comments.
I don't get such window.

Hi Vicentelles,
When you do that can you look on the taskbar at the bottom and see if vista didn't just bring up the save .fdf file dialog in the background, sometimes vista has a tendency of doing this.

Thanks Chris,
I have checked the task bars, I have minimized all the windows, launched the task manager ... and the save window is nowhere.
When I click "import comments" the window appear immediately in first term.

Re: Export Comments to Data File ...
Can you see the comments using Ctrl+M or Comments->Show Comments List?
Try uninstalling, rebooting and resinstalling.
As well FYI, this function only exports a list of what comment tools has been used on what date by what user, it does not contain the highlighted text.
Let me know
Chris

Yes, CTRL+M and "Show Comments list" works properly.
When I had reinstalled the program, I will let you know.
